Title: Algorithms for sequencing and scheduling under uncertainty.

Advisor:.

Methodologies are developed for solving stochastic sequencing and scheduling problems. Algorithms based in Mathematical Programming are developed for sequencing jobs with random processing times and allocating the right amount of time per job. Schedule performance is measure by waiting time, idle time and overtime costs. These kinds of problems are commonly found in Health Care Management and appointment scheduling., Santiago, Chile
