Litigation Experience
Mr. Dalhart has over 30 years of experience as an expert witness in a broad range of
disputes and legal forums. He has been selected as an expert witness more than eighty
matters, provided deposition testimony on numerous occasions. Mr. Dalhart has testified
at trial more than a dozen times in various federal and state courts, arbitrations and tax
court.
Mr. Dalhart s litigation experiences have included a significant concentration in
intellectual property matters particularly patent litigation damages. His experience in
patent matters includes five trials involving lost profits and reasonable royalty damages.
He has served a number of well known corporate clients in patent matters including:
Abbott Laboratories, General Electric, Inland Steel and Proctor & Gamble. Mr. Dalhart
also has case experience in copyright, trademark and trade secret matters.
Mr. Dalhart has applied his experience and accreditation in business valuation to
numerous disputes relating to business valuation issues. These valuation disputes have
included the valuation of intellectual property, software, post-acquisition assets,
shareholder buyouts, marital estate assets and solvency opinions. Mr. Dalhart has
provided trial testimony relating to business valuation on four occasions.
Mr. Dalhart has significant experience in bankruptcy and reorganization proceedings and
has represented debtors in possession is several large Chapter 11 matters including
Continental Airlines and A.H Robbins. He has testified in U.S. bankruptcy court on three
occasions.
Executive Leadership Experience
Mr. Dalhart has nearly ten years of executive leadership experience as partner-in-charge
of the consulting business for two professional service firms: Grant Thornton LLP and
Altschuler, Melvoin and Glasser LLP. He was a member of the executive management

board of both firms. Mr. Dalhart was responsible for the US management consulting
business of Grant Thornton which included over twenty office locations and over $100
million in revenues. While at AM&G Mr. Dalhart led the significant growth in revenues
and profitability of the firm s management consulting practice primarily through internal
growth. He also led the acquisition and spin-off activities of the firm.
Management Consulting Experience
Mr. Dalhart has over twenty years of Big 4 management consulting and audit
experience at Ernst & Young and predecessors and successors. His responsibilities
included leadership of the Americas Supply Chain Service Line at CGE&Y. He provided
senior executive level advisory services for a wide variety of well-known companies;
examples include: Abbott, Caterpillar, Ford Motor, Freddie Mac, J.D. Edwards, JMB
Realty, National Steel, NAVTEQ, Northwest Airlines, USF, and Walgreens. He has had
extensive experience working with top level management throughout his management
consulting career.
Mr. Dalhart s functional skills include: accounting and auditing, business valuation,
finance, financial modeling, mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, joint ventures, litigation,
operations, strategic planning, statistics, supply chain and information technologies.
