for major international SAP/MRP project. Focused on computer compliance and validation
issues of SAP implementation. Drafted many Standard Operating Procedures. Designed and
participated in Post Implementation Review of the SAP implementation including system and
process audits. During past 4 months in UK acted as Project Manager to develop business
case and implementation strategy for Documentum 4i (document management software) to the
entire GW enterprise. Included functional requirements project budgets, MS Project
schedules.
Warner Lambert Pharmaceuticals
(France): contract assignment for Warner Lambert
Company
France: (Nov. 1998 to March 1999) Worked specifically on the SAP Sales and
Distribution (SD) module implementation with more than 20 interfaces. Designed and
conducted unit and system tests for SAP functionality. Reviewed and validated bespoke
ABAP
modules to ensure compliance with company, FDA, and functional requirements.
Citibank
(Singapore): on assignment for Citibank Singapore: (SAP/EDI
functional analyst on contract position Oct/Nov 1998) Contact was delayed by major change
in Citibank senior management. The assignment was to extend Citibank's EDI connectivity
with major SAP clients throughout south east Asia.
Siemens Telecom Networks
(USA): (SAP Business and Functional AnalystApril/98 to
Sept/98
). Functional Analyst working with SAP R/3 FI, SD modules. Developed interface
requirements and specifications for data transfer between Customer Service VB6
application
and SAP R/3. Included data modeling. Designed/built intranet reporting application for
Customer Service application using Interdev 6 and Oracle 7.3. Extended the architecture
of
this application as base for a Data Warehouse project using Seagate Holos (OLAP).

-1998) designed and built comprehensive 450 page web site
(www.sapabap.com) for SAP R/3 and the ERP market. Site addresses main SAP functionality
and all modules including e-commerce, data warehousing and Y2K issues. Particular
attention given to FI, SD, MM, CO modules including LIS.
National Council for Compensation Insurance
(NCCI) (Senior Business

1997-1998). Performed business analysis and functional
requirements for new software application for claims benchmarking. Designed/built
extranet
application "Claims BenchMarker" using Interdev, FrontPage98 with Oracle as a
backend. Prototyped application with Visual Basic. Application now being used by
Insurance
Industry to generate comparison benchmarks for strategic business analyses and product
mix
decisions. Worked closely with end users to establish business rules, requirements and
build web GUI. Application utilized Internet e-commerce functionality permitting on-line
ordering.

.: (Lotus Notes Practice Manager 1997) Negotiated strategic
partnerships with best-of-class Lotus Notes software companies in Sales Force Automation,
Human Resources, Customer Service, Help Desk, and Medical Rehabilitation areas. Conducted
vendor audits of these products. Marketed these products and consultation services to
existing S&P 500 client base of Technisource. Worked on interface issues between Lotus
Notes and SAP R/3 for major avionics company (Rockwell International). Designed strategy
for SAP "gap and fit" analysis for Sales Force Automation and Customer Service
applications using the FI and SD modules.
Interim Services, Inc
.: (Senior Business Analyst1996-1997). Conducted analyses of
all business rules and determined business requirements for a major software application
($25mm). Application used to connect 500 HR offices and track/manage resumes and time
reports. In depth analysis of billing and time tracking components. Extensive data
modeling and functional requirements.
Bank of Boston
: (Senior Business and Systems Analyst 5 month assignment 1996).
Conducted business and system analyses of 75 bank investment products including
securities
and derivatives to set up new "Section 20 Corporation" namely BancBoston
Securities Inc. Identified all system firewall issues to ensure client privacy as
required
by Federal Reserve Board legislation. Developed specifications for system changes.
Analyses included review of back office operations including booking, execution,
monitoring, and compliance policies on a product by product basis. Reviewed all
marketing,
credit analysis, and risk evaluation policies and operations. Frequent interviews at
director and VP level. Final report proposed optimal and best possible solutions.

. (Senior Lotus Notes Developer1995-1996). Conducted Joint
Application Development (JAD) sessions with client senior management to develop high

design requirements for Lotus Notes applications. Developed Lotus Notes value-based sales
opportunity tracking application for large NYSE company. Developed Lotus Notes sales
relationship tracking application for an investment research and securities company.

software application using Paradox 5.0 to manage personnel issues including staff
relations, grievances, classification, and promotions.

1994-96). Developed comprehensive telecommunications
inventory management and billing software called "WINTEL". Application currently
used by three government departments (20,000 ports). WINTEL tracks and manages all
telecommunication devices including all available features, rental charges, usage fees,
installation requirements, cabling plans, and voice/data outlet locations by number,
person and location. It reconciles monthly invoices to ensure proper charges. Paradox for
Windows.
First Link, Ltd
.: (Senior Business Analyst/Software Developer 94-95). Developed
order desk software program for satellite industry using Paradox for Windows.
Department of External Affairs
: (Senior Business Analyst/Software Developer on
contract
1994). Designed/built a real estate application to manage physical attributes
and
condition for more than 2500 properties located in approximately 150 countries worth
US$2.0 billion. Used Paradox for Windows.
Canadian International Development Agency
: (Senior Business Analyst on contract 6
months 1993). Worked on a new bank feasibility study to establish a $100,000,000
financing
facility in Africa. This facility would provide loan guarantees to small-scale
entrepreneurs. Extensive interviews with senior banking, trade, and venture capital
officers throughout Canada and USA (World Bank Group) to determine viability, business
and
system requirements, and organizational structure of new facility.
United Nations Development Program (UNDP): (Senior Business Analyst: on contract 6
months
1992-93) Conducted business analysis concerning the effectiveness of information
feedback systems used by the UNDP for 4000 international development projects. Traveled
extensively to interview senior directors at World Bank Group and UN agencies throughout
Europe and Latin American Branch Offices. Authored final report (100 +pages) for
circulation to all UN members.
Energy Mines and Resources Canada: (Senior Business Analyst on contract 5 months
1992). Developed long-term scenario analysis for the supply and demand of Canadian
minerals, metals, and energy industries. Conducted interviews with CEOs and senior
corporate officers across Canada. Correlated long-term commodity price trends with new
technological trends and changes occurring in Russia and Latin America. Final report
predicted declining commodity prices for medium term (5+ years).
Canadian International Development Agency
: (Business Analysis with Project
Evaluation on contract 6 months 1992-93). Evaluation of the effectiveness of Canada s
largest recipient of food aid (Bangladesh). Required travel to Bangladesh. Based on study
and business recommendations, this US$120 million program has now largely substituted
potash fertilizer for wheat to permit better recipient choice of which crops to grow (and
consume).
Energy Mines and Resources Canada: (Business Process Re-engineering Analyst on
contract 1991-92). Developed 15 year strategy document for energy, metals, minerals and
research branch (CANMET: $100 million budget). Identified major new policy initiatives
and
developed recommendations for BPR.
Canadian International Development Agency
: (Senior Business Analyst on contract for
3 months 1991
-92). Developed and drafted a strategic alliances and investment policy for
Asia Branch including plan of action to enhance private sector partnerships with Canadian
companies.
Nordion, Inc
. (Senior Business Analyst on contract 1989-91). Nordion is the
world s largest supplier of medical radioisotopes to the pharmaceutical industry.
Drafted two 200 page manuals for the process workflow and manufacturing of all medical
radioisotopes. A second contract was awarded to develop a similar document was developed
for the workflow for Cobalt production and manufacture.
Real Estate Developer
: (1976-88) owned and developed significant number of
investment real estate properties the largest of which was a 69 unit luxury condominium
property in Almonte Ontario Canada.
Economist: (permanent 1972-79) with the Department of External Affairs and the
Canadian International Development Agency managed and drafted complex economic,
investment
and business policy position papers for Cabinet approval. Traveled extensively and
represented Canada at many international conferences and negotiating sessions.
