Inventory Control Group Manager, American Showa. Nov 2002- Dec 2011

Managed and effectively controlled $11 + million raw material and finished goods inventory. QMS/Training Manager - conducted quality systems audits ensuring that all products and/or services requested by the customer were achieved or provided and coordinated all training needs for 950+ employee motor vehicle steering and suspension components manufacturing plant. * Developed and implemented the new Inventory Control Program - parts ranking, cycle counting, daily checks, and quarterly inventories. Identified root causes, reconciled discrepancies, and recorded and reported results. Developed and implemented three months ahead of schedule and improved inventory dollar value from 95% to 98%.

* Communicated the findings of internal process reviews, annual, and semi-annual audits to the management staff and ensured that items of non-conformances discovered during an internal process review, during any of the audits, or during the course of normal daily operations were addressed and corrected in a timely manner.

* Maintained, developed and improved the quality systems and Standard Operation Procedures. Created the implementation schedule for Blanchester facility and monitored adherence to agreed upon implementation goals and timelines. Communicated with Sunbury Quality Systems Managers to share best practices and assisted operations management through the refinement of processes and through budget development.

Reported directly to Plant Manager - managed production operations, warehouse, quality assurance, maintenance and physical plant activities of 150+ employee manufacturing plant. Supervised Shift Supervisors, Cell Leads, QA Leads, and Material Handlers with regard to production volume, cost, quality, budget, resources, meeting schedules and delivery dates.

* Designed and implemented training program for warehouse workers; ensured that predetermined productivity, cost and quality standards were achieved or exceeded; attaining an average of 99.61% accuracy after the training program was implemented exceeding the previous rate of 95.4% as well as the standard of 99.5%.

* Brought budget back in line 95% by renegotiating old contracts and negotiating new contracts to account for additional services and expectations of clients.

* Led 19 people through entire production facility-training program in 5 months as only production facility out of 21 to complete entire program and as a result reduced waste by 35%.

Facilitator of Copper Operations, ILSCO Corp. Jan 1995 - Dec 1997

Reported directly to Vice President of Manufacturing of 200-employee aluminum/copper electrical connector manufacturing plant. Developed ISO 9001 procedures and managed 4 manufacturing teams and 1 assembly team (50 employees, $2.2 million labor, capital and expense budgets resulting in $16 million in annual sales).

* Designed and implemented work methods and procedures and increased productivity from 19,000 parts produced daily and improved production within the shift to an average of 2,500 parts daily while adhering to ISO 9001.

* Guided continuous quality improvement processes increasing performance; reducing cycle times which increased capacity; from reengineered material flow process through 5 departments in union shop achieving production output one week ahead of schedule, turning it around from four months behind schedule within a seven-month period.

* Conducted needs assessment then; in four months; designed, developed and delivered a training program that lead to increased quality from 63% to 97%.
