IT Project Coordinator
I manage the day to day operations of the Hospitals Move/Rollout team. I supervise the team members to ensure a timely completion of workstation deployment, which includes coordinating with vendors and other move logistical entities. I have improved the processes and procedures to make the team more efficient in the growing demand with the 2010 Vision. I am the main contact for resolving customer issues regarding the Move/Rollout team. I resolved hardware, software, and networking issues for the hospitals workstation clients including desktop computers, printers, handheld devices, and other peripherals in a Windows NT 4.0/Windows 2000 and Windows XP environment. I create print queues, Epic LWS/EPR/E1P records for workstations and printers.
I have established interdepartmental relationships to make my vision for the Move/Rollout team to be self sufficient. The team now has the ability to heat data jacks, create print queues on servers and enter data into the LWS/EPR database within Epic. I have developed documentation on procedures for the deployment of Windows 2000 and XP migration for workstations for the Hospital Expansion Projects and Rollout. I was assigned as part of a documentation team to develop a training manual for a high profile department within the Texas Children's Hospital organization to resolve ongoing training issues. Responsible for Quality Assurance to ensure data security was met by encrypting hard drives and installing computrace on computers to meet Hippa standards with regards to patient data protection.

I maintained field computers to commercialized status. I provided IT support for hardware/software for Windows NT 4.0 operating system with Microsoft Office 97 Professional, and other standard applications. I provided hardware support for associated peripherals such as Desktop Computers, network printers, and CDR`s. I developed support processes and procedures that included ghost images for fast restorations of down computer systems. I helped design the field computer systems for the drilling services provided by Schlumberger. I designed testing fixtures that save money in the environmental testing of the field computer systems. I successfully implemented the entire upgrade of computer systems for the Sugarland Training facility ahead of schedule and under budget.

Responsibilities included quality assurance and troubleshooting and repair on returned wireless data, voice and video radio systems. Tested and repaired any equipment form stock that was sent as emergency exchanges to customers worldwide. I served as liaison between Microwave Network`s worldwide customer and repair facilities. I telephonically provided troubleshooting for customers on the Microwave Telecommunications Systems. Posted engineering change notices for equipment requiring modifications to technical procedures and schematics. Performed final system performance audit on all finished microwave telecommunications products and insured that all MNI specifications and customer requirements were met.
