Firm Profile
Engineered Exteriors, PLLC, formed in 2010, is an extension of JCD Consulting, formed in 2007 to
provide consulting services in the fields of architectural engineering, roofing, exterior walls, and
waterproofing:
Design of new and repair/replacement roof and wall systems
Design of rooftop stormwater drainage systems, new construction and modification of existing
systems
Peer reviews of architectural, mechanical, and structural drawings as they relate to roofing,
exterior walls, waterproofing, and rooftop stormwater drainage compliance
Engineering calculations related to wind uplift, rooftop stormwater drainage, and structural
modifications performed in conjunction with roof replacement projects
Complete design and production of construction documents (drawings and specifications) for
engineering, roofing, exterior wall, and waterproofing projects
Construction phase project management, contract administration services, and site visits to
observe installation and create substantial completion punch lists
In particular, through experience with several institutional and educational projects, EE understands
the importance of including requirements in the project documents regarding scheduling of
construction and site safety, to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing activities at these facilities. We
find that unexpected project costs can typically be avoided by a clear, concise set of well
researched project documents. EE believes strongly in providing our clients a finished project that
has been planned and executed in a manner to minimize our clients maintenance costs long term.
Engineered Exteriors is registered with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers (TBPE) and is
certified by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts as a Historically Underutilized Business (HUB),
