Solar Cell Manufacturing Company
Responsible for the design and construction of the new company facilities which includes 75,000 SF manufacturing space, a 40,000 SF corporate office and installation of the manufacturing tools. My goal was to reduce an existing development budget of 22M to a 12M. Working with a team of engineers, architect, and consultants, the project was re-scoped to delete none critical components, build facility support systems in a modular approach and worked with tool engineers to tighten tool requirements, which provided a cost efficient and flexible design at the targeted cost.
* Project costs were reduced 10 million dollars.

Responsible for the removal and installation of 6,000 feet of urban road infrastructure. The work involved several projects in varies stages of completion with over 3,000 feet of which needed to be removed and reinstalled due to a multi-million dollar defect government claim. I managed to successful resolution several large construction claims involving the contactors, the government entities, and designers. The process involved one on one negotiation with contractors, extensive forensic work, and participated in formal mediation and arbitration forums. The 8 claims varied from $50K to $12M dollars.

Wavve was a startup that planned to provide Computer collocation space in 2nd tier cities. I was responsible for corporate real estate, design, construction, and facility operations. Due the Dot.com bubble burst of 2000 the company causing venture capital to be limited; the company stopped all further expansion activities in December 2001, and had to file Chapter 11.

Spieker Properties, Emeryville, CA - Project Manager 1999 - 2000
Public R.E.I.T for Commercial Office Space.
Managed the design and construction of a 16 story, 350,000 square foot class A office building. Responsible for developing design with designers, contracting and managing the construction. Implemented several design changes that reduced costs and provided a better performing building. Company was purchased by Equity Office Group in late 2000.
* Restructured the contract to provide a limit on contractor`s fee reducing the costs $300K.
