Lead Interaction Designer eBay 10/2003 - Present
Won first place (out of 40 participants) in both categories (Judge s and People s
Choice) for a company-wide competition for project entry entitled Dressing room.
Worked with a team to design the search portion of the eBay iPhone application.
Hosted a panel at South by Southwest Interactive 2008 entitled A/B Testing: Design
Friend or Foe?
Acted as Design Area Lead for Finding, guiding the design team to launch the
redesign of the eBay.com search experience.
Worked with a team of researchers and a product design team to launch (as eBay
Express) a new way to find items on eBay through a multi-faceted search interface.
Designed the interface to Want It Now, a specialty site on eBay that allowed buyers
to post requests for items, and for sellers to search through and respond to requests.
Redesigned the primary Community Hub pages for all eBay countries through
collaboration with numerous business and international stakeholders.
Improved eBay s registration rates by working with a team to research and implement
design improvements to eBay s buyer registration process for all countries.

Lead a team of developers, testers, designers, usability specialists, and product planners
designing and specifying features for Meeting Workspaces Summer 2002 and before
that for Microsoft Picture Library in Q3-Q4 of 2001.
