President / Consulting Agronomist

Development of agronomic strategies that provide plant health balance while maximizing playability. Services include soil testing and analysis, innovative turf nutrition programs, preparation plans for tournament conditioning and consultation on construction and renovation techniques.

LE TRIOMPHE GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB, Broussard, LA 2003 - Present

Agronomist

Liaison with Golf Course Superintendent for development of agronomic strategies for greens, tees and fairways on a Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Design course that is host of the Louisiana Open.

Managed the 2003 renovation and redesign of the golf course including development of an innovative sand trap design concept that uses Portland cement filled into sub-grade and erosion cloth along perimeters so bunkers still drain and sand is free of any contamination. Trap sand quality is still exceptional in 2012. Ensured greens were constructed to USGA specifications.

Currently oversee a 10,000 square foot research putting green. Project consists of three different bermudagrasses and two paspalum varieties. The grasses are planted on four different USGA specification soil conditions.

INDIAN SPRINGS COUNTRY CLUB, Broken Arrow, OK 2001 - 2003

Golf Course Superintendent/Director of Agronomy

Managed staff of more than 30 which included: Senior Assistants, Mechanics, Crew Foremen, Irrigation Technicians, Pesticide Applicators and Laborers.

Directed the management and agronomic practices of two 18-hole bent grass courses with a budget of $980K.

Researched, planned, and managed installation of electricity and fans for 23 greens on the two golf courses, plus installation of pumps and 3.5 miles of piping from local water treatment plant to utilize effluent for irrigation.

Led rebuilding initiatives of two greens ensuring they met USGA specifications.
