Joined Microsoft games group as Group Program Manager (GPM) of Simulations studio:

Overhauled the PM team by identifying and removing under performing PMs, mentored the team, and hiring quality new PMs (and one bad one that I later removed).

Planned and implemented several major PC games

Identified a major install design flaw that would leave customer computers unusable. Successfully spearheaded a cross division effort educating and motivating the stakeholder teams to fix a broken design that had plagued PC game install for years as teams pointed fingers at each other.

Systems Tools And Plus! Team

Managed the creation of core Windows system tools including Defrag, Scandisk, System Agent, and enhanced Drvspace disk compression, while simultaneously creating the first Windows Plus! product. Participated in daily Windows war team and established reputation as solid leader with excellent problem solving skills.

In the months following release of Windows 95, worked directly for VP strategizing and exploring ways for Microsoft to embrace the Internet. Conceived and created the first Internet Explorer Admin Kit (IEAK), an SDK/Wizard which made it easy for partners to customize Internet Explorer (IE) w/o impacting the IE development team.
