Provide onsite engineering support for test sites across the country including Aberdeen Proving Grounds (APG), Aberdeen, MD; Amphibious Vehicle Test Branch (AVTB), Camp Pendleton, CA; Marine Corps Base, Twenty-Nine Palms, CA; Marine Corp Base, Quantico, VA; Army Base, Fort AP Hill, VA. Duties include but not limited to: Responsible for troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of advanced aerospace hydraulic components and systems on amphibious track vehicles including: piston pumps/motors, gear pumps/motors, bootstrap reservoirs, intensifiers, rotary/linear actuators, and software controlled hydraulic manifolds. Routinely serviced or replaced components in manifolds including spool, pilot, and proportional valves. Custom fabrication of titanium and stainless steel hydraulic lines. Conduct vehicle operations in support of hydraulic test procedures. Perform hydraulic system maintenance including filter replacement and system flushing using a Portable Hydraulic Power Supply. Troubleshooting, assembling, installs, repairs, and removal of track vehicle transmissions and power transfer modules include valve bodies, solenoids, and pumps. Troubleshooting, assembling, installs, repairs, and removal of track vehicle engines, A.P.U, turrets, armor, major electrical components, cooling system, hydro-pneumatic suspension units, final drives, track, and track idlers. Assemble, install, repair, and removal of the 30mm weapon system. Routinely services on track vehicles such as weekly's, monthly's, semi-annuals, and annuals.

Provided onsite engineering support for hydraulic and fuel systems at ACU-5, Camp Pendleton,

Duties include but not limited to: Installation and disassembly of lift fan (bearing mounts and half shafts), bow thruster manifolds (check point standards), main engines (ETF40B and TF40), windshield, armor plating, scavenging fan assembly, engine module, F.O.D. screen, auxiliary power unit, fuel filters, cushion vanes, duralife air filter, all gear boxes, lift fan bearings, blow-in door (installation and chalk test to check point standards). Operate and reconfigure of LCAC lube oil system. Experienced in operation of fuel test system as well as prop and rudders, cushion vanes, bow thruster adjustments on LCAC 42 (check points). Installation and alignment of lift fan bearing mounts and pinch test. Experienced in shaft run outs for L.O.S. "A", "B", "C". Knowledge of LCAC technical manuals and drawings. Monitored LCAC maintenance and repairs while conducting sea trials on LCAC 76. Performed torque specifications on Prop Shroud, Lift Fan Foundation, Engine Module Foundation, Shafts, Lift Fan Volute.
