Science, Univ of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia - Software

Programmer.

As part of a 4 member project group, developed a model retail auction

(C2C) web application Dreamland. Assisted the group design the framework

and individually coded (java) a powerful internal search engine, a digital

watermaking scheme to protect auction items using inverse fourier

transforms, graphical software integration to a thin client architecture

for viewing real time auction charts/graphs, and generic Java servlets.

Implemented an Apache web server, PostgreSql server with a JDBC driver, a

Squid proxy server and a Linux based firewall & OS. After completion of

web development, in phase II the group successfully model tested (use

cases) standard auction protocols like open cry, counterintuitive, Dutch

and Scaled bid auctions by incorporating business process flow model into

Java based testing algorithms.(Jan 2000-June 2000).

Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA- Research Assistant.

Of interest to manufactures of beer and shaving cream, worked on an

experiment carrying out the diffusion spectroscopy of wet foam. In

another experiment, devised a method to yield a high population of two

microscopic spheres joined at their surface."Doublets" were used to design

a high precision inferometer sensitive to distances about one-millionths

of an inch. (Sept 1997- May 1998)
