Hard worker looking for better (Denver metro)

This may come across abrasive and for that I apologize but please hear me out. I'm looking for employment in a field where my skills and potential could be better used. My name is David Hamilton. I am 32 and currently employed by Mattress King making 13.50 as a warehouse worker and delivery helper. This is a dead end job with no promise of a future and quite honestly the most mindless job I've ever done. I lift 30 - 150 lbs. repeatedly all day some may see this as a hard job but quite frankly it's easy and I'm looking for 3 things: more of a challenge, promise of advancement based on my performance and a potential career opportunity. Overtime is a huge plus too. My strongest skills are mechanical I was a structural and hydraulics mechanic in the U.S Navy on P-3C Orion aircraft. I have worked several other mechanical jobs in the past though unfortunately I've never gotten certified or a degree in anything else. I've also worked in various construction fields but my passion is in problem solving, troubleshooting & fabricating.

I am willing to do anything including furthering my education if that is needed. I appreciate all who have taken the time to read this and consider me as a useful addition to your company. Thank You for your time.
