Investigative and Legal staff supporting intern. Noted for having had innovatively configured a cost effective and time-saving method for analyzing and deterring an extensive amount of statistical data needed to be assessed for a comprehensive agency report that had later went on to win an award. Investigation of business's suspected to be in violations of federal laws and bylaws denoting fraudulent and/or deceptive business practices as determined by the FTC. Attending congressional hearings on Capitol Hill and taking notes on various issues, such as; wire tapping, HP scandal, internet security legislation, and surveillance for catching child predators and terrorist.
Public Defenders Office Internship 2006 Montgomery County, Maryland
Investigative Team Selected to the investigative team responsible for providing assistance to district attorneys on various legal cases set for trial in court. Coordinate compliance with law enforcement officials and social workers on matters relating to the crime incident. Responsibilities included- gathering witness statements and giving subpoenas, drafting memoranda, documenting observations and taking notes from the investigated crime scenes.
Genetic Research Scientist 2005-2006 Oakland University, Michigan
Description- Extensive laboratory research projects with a team of scientist under Professor Dr. Douglas Wendell of the Oakland University Biology Department. Task included: DNA purification and extraction, developing protocol, immunohistochemistry and histopathology, Polymerase Chain Reactions (PCR), DNA differentiation followed with gel electrophoresis to resolve microsatellite alleles, recording the findings in a computerized database to create a size-fractionated genomic library.
