Research areas: Intrusion detection in 802.11 networks, Automatic analysis of unstructured
system logs for fault management.
Research involved the use of evolutionary computation, artificial neural networks, clustering,
classification and various data mining techniques.
Developed novel algorithms and frameworks including Iterative Partitioning Log Mining (IPLoM)
and Spatio-Temporal Alert Detection (STAD) for message type extraction and alert detection in
system logs respectively.
