WORK EXPERIENCE
2006 - Current
Pharmacy Technician Target
East Windsor, NJ
As a Pharmacy Technician, I am the first person to great the customer when they walk up or drive up to the Pharmacy area. I accept their new prescriptions or refills and make sure I can fill the prescription. I assist the customer with any questions they might have about the prescription, except the questions regarding the medication itself. I also help the customer locate over the counter items they cannot find, or have a hard time reaching. I will also ring the customer up at the register. I assist the Pharmacist in keeping the Pharmacy in order. I was working at Rite Aid at first from 2006 through 2011, and then moved to Target Pharmacy where I am working now. I am a certified Pharmacy Technician by the state of New Jersey.
2010 - 2011
Assistant Stage Manager Boheme Opera
Hamilton, NJ
The first time I worked with this company, I was an Intern. They liked my worked so much that they have asked me to work for them some more on some other operas. As an Assistant Stage Manager, my job is to help the Stage Manager out as much as I can. For the last few performances, I have been in charge of props. I am to find and barrow from people some props that we need for the show. If need be, I am given some money and I go out and buy and or rent what we need as well. I am also in charge of knowing how the props go on stage, how they come off stage, which actor has them as they are going on and off, and presetting props before the act starts. I also have to make sure no props walk away from the stage area at all.
2008 - 2011
Stage Manager Mercer County Community College
West Windsor, NJ
I am the one who follows the Director up to Tech Week. Then the show is in my hands. I must take all of the blocking notes, notes of what light should be on or not, sound cue notes, notes about the set and props, notes on costumes, etc. I have to keep the show intact and make sure everyone is doing what they should be doing. From the moment the current goes up to the last performance, I am calling the show. This is where I will tell others when to make this light and sound cue go on, and when this Actor should enter the stage or not.
2008-2009 Mercer County Community College
Sound Technician West Windsor, NJ
At the time, I was a student at Mercer County Community College. There were two performances that I worked on as a Sound Technician. One was a performance of Macbeth. I was in charge of making sure the actors that had to wear any packs that the batteries were charged and they were all set. I also had to make sure the actors understood not to speak backstage so that they would not be picked up during the performance. I also was able to play with the features on the microphones so that their voices sounded different. The whole time during the performance, I had to play around with the levels so that there was no high pitch, or the actors were too soft or too loud. We also had a small performing contest going on, and I was in charge of sound for that. I had to make sure if anyone was singing at that time, they had the necessary equipment, that their CD was in and ready to be played, and that they were not too loud, since we were in a small area. I also had to help set up the sound equipment and take it down as well when the performance was done each night.
