Bob Frater is a respected CERTIFIED FINANCIAL
PLANNER practitioner who has provided total
financial planning service for his clients since 1980.
Bob Frater is CEO of Houston Asset Management,
Inc., an independent comprehensive financial
planning firm.
Mr. Frater is founder of the Houston Society of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners (the
precursor of the Financial Planning Association) and has served on the Board of Directors at state and
national levels.
Mr. Frater is a contributing author of the book How to Invest Today published in 1995 and Taking
Charge of your Financial Future published in 1998. He is a Registered Principal with SagePoint
Financial, a broker/dealer firm registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc.
(FINRA). His clientele include many closely held corporations, executives, and professionals across
the U.S. Mr. Frater graduated with honors from University of Wisconsin, Stout with B.S. in Business
in 1976 and received his CFP certification in 1984.
