Managed the construction of a three mile FDOT roadway project through virgin land. Performed a variety of tasks, isuch as maintained and adjusted the construction budget, instructed employees and subcontractors to perform specific tasks at the appropriate times to keep the project on schedule and under budget, built and updated the schedule, kept track of production quantities on a daily basis, negotiated extra work and change order pricings with the owner, managed and administered contracts to subcontractors and vendors, coordinated with FDOT, Sarasota County, and several other involved groups on a daily basis, made creative changes in the field based on unforeseen conditions.
