Developed web-based applications, designed websites, brochures, and other advertising, created relational databases
for patient information and medical imaging, provided computer support, kept track of finances, and provided
administrative support for the Multidisciplinary Pediatric Education and Evaluation Consortium (MPEEC) and the
Child Protective Services division of the Children's Hospital. Also served in a supervisory and managerial capacity
for a period of two months.

Variety of volunteer activities includes tutoring a sixth grade student in mathematics and reading comprehension.
Became a certified Adult Literacy Tutor and currently tutoring entry and GED-level mathematics and computer

Duties included relational database design, technical support, technical documentation, website & graphic design,
interaction with other state agencies, and extensive high-level web programming using HTML, ASP/VBScript,
JavaScript, SQL, XML, and the Vignette V5 Content Management Suite. Single-handedly designed and
implemented the dynamic, database-driven eGovernment website; also aided IBM Global Services in architecting
and implementing the e-business infrastructure for the State of Ohio Portal site, www.MyOhio.gov.
Summer Science Scholar, Department of Mathematics, Kenyon College Summer 1999
Researched an independent study project entitled Visualization algorithms for three-dimensional computer graphics.
Programmed "from scratch" an extensible object-oriented ray-tracer, a 3D voxel engine, and a 3D polygon engine
using C and C++.

Developed MusicTicker, a plug-in for WinAmp. MusicTicker was used by Grand Royal Records, many commercial
radio stations around the world, and was also featured in a number of publications including "MP3 for Dummies."

Programmed a fractal parser using C. The application provided an interface to receive a polynomial equation, parse
it, and create a fractal based on Newton's method from it.
