Eric McNiece
Hello! Thanks for taking the time to look over my resume. Below you'll find
a brief summary of my life for the past two-ish decades. As you probably know, I'm currently
working as a freelance web design agent, accepting contracts from graphic designers and
advertising firms. I recently moved to Victoria in hopes of attending another electronics
course, but quickly discovered that my passionate hobby of web design was a feasible choice
and decided to make the leap of faith into this incredible, ever-evolving world.
I started programming early in high school with VB6, HTML and Javascript. Late high school
lead to projects integrating PHP as well as C and C++, with a side interest in Z80. During
university I learned Assembly, BASIC, C/C++ through a microprocessor orientation. Only within
the last two years have I started working with open-source Content Management Systems and
quickly settled into Drupal and WordPress as my foundation systems. My knowledge of PHP, MySQL
and Javascript has grown immensely in the last two years, and I am now an active contributing
member and plugin developer in many communities across the Internet.
