To obtain an English/Social Studies teaching position.

Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement
Successfully completing a solo bike ride across Australia to attend my graduation ceremony.
Keynote speaker to 400 delegates at the Australian Trucking Foundations 20th anniversary
convention (23 May, 2011) focussing on education, safety and continual improvement.
My story is presently being used by Charles Darwin University in a new marketing campaign to

Presently giving presentations to students at various schools in Australia as well as schools in Norther
California (October, 2011) advocating the importance of education and striving to do well. I use my ride
across Australia as a platform for this presentation. I speak to both primary and secondary students and
encourage both parents and teachers to attend.

My role as Associate Producer includes working with a within a tight budget and meeting marketing,
printing and media deadlines to ensure the success of each concert. Having strong people skills and being
able to work under pressure is essential in this position. Responsibilities within each concert varied, but
could include:
Coordination of musicians including rehearsal calls, travel and accommodation.
Concert hall hire, instrument and equipment delivery and maintenance /servicing as well as liaising
with stage managers, sound and light technicians as well as camera men, photographers and other
staff.
Liaising with concert hall staff, marketing and ticketing agencies as well as media (radio and
newspaper).
Script writing and development of copy for marketing purposes as well as the concert program.

Medical Practise: I am responsible for the day to day running of the medical practise, which includes
everything from financial management (accounts payable/receivable), office and facilities management as
well as liaising with Dr Stapleton s bank managers and financial advisers for the smooth operation of the
practise. In addition to strong organisational skills, people skills are essential in this role, as Dr Stapleton
often deals with fragile medical/legal issues.

Having established a small after school running club of between 12 28 students, I was offered the
position as Sports Coach at Dixons Creek Primary School, which involved coordinating individual and team
events for students from Prep through to grade 6. My success at this school led to part-time sports coach
positions and two other schools in the region.

C & B Safe is a small consulting company that offers safety presentations throughout Australia and New
Zealand. The focus of the company is to promote better choices within the work place, resulting in a
reduction in workplace accidents and injuries.
My role was to manage the company finances, marketing and to generate new clients. There was a
requirement to continually assess the content of the various presentations as a way of staying in touch with
present issues within the workforce. This prompted the development of a powerful and effective safety
program resulting in outcomes that included not only improved safety records, but occasions where lives
had been saved as a result of changed attitudes towards safety and procedures.
