Applied for grant to Research in Motion (R.I.M.).

This grant was to fund the purchase of handheld personal digital assistants (palm pilots) for

30 5th grade students at M.K. Rawlings Elementary. This was to be the second part of the

Palm Pilots in the Classroom project, which was an action research project designed to

determine if the use of the handheld technology would motivate students and result in

higher grades.
