I am a self-motivated professional with a desire to further the knowledge base I have received from 8+ years of experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Architectural drafting, design and engineering principles. I have proven to be a quick learner, possessing a strong command of professional communication between key players of schematic design, engineering and the construction document process. Proven the capability to self teach while having an earnest desire to learn more from those more experienced by acquiring a record of consistent achievement with promotions to greater responsibility.

Beginning my professional career in and around the HVAC/R industry as an installer/technician provided the foundation for the transition to begin drafting around the Architectural, Engineering and Construction sectors while obtaining an in depth understanding of AutoCAD, Revit and other design tools. I have learned to accurately portray the thoughts of engineers on construction documents following ANSI and several companies' standards. My understanding of the designs increased, allowing me to assist senior designers and engineers in their overall designs with minimal supervision.

The past 2 years I have expanded my career from the AEC drafting and design division to residential and commercial estimating while still keeping fluent with updated versions of AutoCAD. Utilizing the expertise gained from AutoCAD, Revit and drafting principles therein, allowed for a seamless segue to the latest versions of Xactimate.

This has provided a way for me to work as a property loss estimator and Xactimate trainer. I have investigated and written over 3500 hundred residential losses averaging $20,000+ and commercial losses in the multi-millions. I personally managed the responsibilities between the needs of lawyers and property owners in lieu of several catastrophes as an estimating manager for a general contractor. I have assisted the training of dozens of independent property loss insurance adjusters in a classroom atmosphere.
