Digital Audio Radio System (SDARS)

The

SDARS is a SIRIUS satellite and terrestrial receiver capable of decoding

digital audio and data broadcasts.

The module has no direct user interface. Command and control of the module

is provided via MOST communication messages. Decoded audio is transported

out of the module over MOST.

Transfer Case Control Module

(TCCM):

Four-wheel drive vehicles

require a system of gears between the front and rear axles to transfer

power from the transmission to those axles. Transfer cases typically have

two gear ranges: high and low. Low range is used for extreme off-road

conditions. TCCM receives commands from the user and from other modules

within the vehicle and performs the functions accordingly on the transfer

case motor.

DDM is a module, which receives the

commands from the driver to perform basic operations like opening and

closing the door or window.

IBOC is a module, which is used to tune the radio to a desired

frequency

Responsibilities:

Develop

test cases for the validation of the modules. Documentation

Analyzing

CAN Network

CAN

(Controller Area Network) is a serial communication network protocol that

allows multiple ECUs connected to the network

bus to exchange messages with each other. This project involves developing

a 4 node CAN network and analyzing the traffic on the

network

Responsibilities:Developed

a 4-node network using CANcardXL.Analyzed

the traffic on the network using CANalyzer.Tested

and simulated the network using CANoe.Programmed

the system using CAPL

language.

Skills Used:Canalyzer,
