Job Title: Security Monitor with active TS\SCI clearence

Location : McClellan, North Highlands, CA, United States

Duration: 6-12 Months with possible extension

Monitors alarm equipment and responds to alarms and/or calls by determining the needed response (e.g., hazmat, medical, accident, safety, mutual aid, local agencies) and dispatches or requests the appropriate personnel (e.g., fire, security, medical, hazmat, facilities, external support, mutual aid). Tracks appropriate information by maintaining activity log and completing reports. Communicates emergency or non=emergency info to internal resources in order to generate activity, advise of conditions and relay info (emergency evacuation, management notification).

Tracks appropriate info by maintaining activity log and completing reports. Controls access to company property by ensuring that all persons and property entering or leaving have the proper authorization and credentials for admittance or exit by using the appropriate systems or techniques. Conducts vehicle inspections and when appropriate conducts vehicle escorts as required. Controls and monitors remote gates and closed circuit cameras to protect personnel, property and enforce policies and governmental regulations.

Escorts groups or individuals as directed by management for compliance with company, program, and federal agency policy and procedures to prevent compromising company sensitive, customer classified or International Traffic In Arms Regulation information. Writes various reports to document faces and circumstances that have occurred to comply with relevant company and governmental policies and procedures.

Submits reports to the appropriate company, program and regulatory recipients to determine if further action or follow-up is required. Participates in records documenting activities (deliveries, shipments, visitors, key issuance, property release permits, toolbox releases, contractor badging and random inspections.

Patrols company property to ensure that company, insurer, and government policies are met and company, customer, personal property and personnel are safeguarded. Provides customer support by unlocking vehicles, providing jump-start assistance, assisting personnel in accessing locked areas and escorting personnel to their vehicles. Issues parking and traffic citations, provides traffic control, and supports ongoing investigations. Assess the situation, takes control and determines the appropriate course of action.

Prefer someone with a security or law enforcement background and able to use Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Additionally, individual should have good written and speech skills.
