CAREER HIGHLIGHTS SUMMARY:

The Boeing Company - Long Beach, CA (1990-2012)

(1990-2003) Performed as Project Engineer/Program Manager for the Aerojet Photo-Conductive Module production program. Led the technical, financial and administrative functions of a team of 40-50 engineers and manufacturing production technicians that developed, fabricated, tested, and delivered 26 space qualified infra-red detector modules in accordance with MIL-Q-9858A production line quality assurance procedures ahead of schedule and under cost in support of the Defense Support Program. Performance also resulted in the development of applicable product test specifications and procedures. Subsequent performance as Project Engineer/Team Lead/Project Manager resulted in the successful proposal and execution of the Towed Decoy System ($350M) manufacturing production program which was completed with a stunning $3M cost underrun by identifying manufacturing cost saving initiatives throughout the program implementation. The TDS Production Program Team subsequently won the B-1B Lancer Award (Customer Achievement Award) in 2000 and was a nominee for the Silver Eagle Award in 2000, and again in 2003.

(2003-2006) As Project Engineering, duties included the proposal development of the Threat Situational Awareness System (TSAS) Spiral 1 Program ($34M) and the Vertical Situation Display Upgrade (VSDU) Program ($58M) which were subsequently successfully awarded to Boeing as a result of the best proposal offers.

(2006-2012) Performed as Project Engineer with responsibility for the proposal development of the B-1B Radar Reliability & Maintainability Improvement Program ($189M over 5 years) which resulted in Boeing winning the contract and Northrop as the major subcontractor. The program program was completed on cost, on schedule, and with all desired technical specifications achieved. Additionally, as a result of the positive program performance, related spin-off program extensions including the Modified Airworthiness Certification Critera effort, the Degree of Compliance Qualification Test Execution program effort, the Waveguide Switching Assemblies procurement, and the Roll Resolvers procurement were awarded to Boeing by the AF customer and successfully accomplished.
