Member of an R&D team chartered with the development and integration
of UNIX-based, distributed-architecture satellite command and control
system at the Center for Research Support (CERES) in the National Test
Facility (NTF). Lead engineer of the SYBASE RDBMS and GUI development
functional areas. Responsible for the administration of the SYBASE
RDBMS, database and application integration, as well as the user
interface portion of the systems. Lead engineer of selected software
development projects to include the development of a generic satellite
multi-processor memory management capability. Develop X Windows/Motif,
SYBASE and system applications using a variety of development tools,
APIs and languages including C/C++, SQL and UNIX shell scripts. As a
member of the system administration team, provide system and network
administration on Sun Sparcs running Solaris 2.X on an Ethernet
network using Chipcom Concentrators and a Nighthawk Router. As a
member of the core engineering group, provide software, systems and
network engineering services including requirements analysis, design,
implementation, integration and testing. Develop user guides,
tutorials and reference manuals for the CERES developed applications.
