I would like to introduce you to an amazing young lady and student athlete. Kelsey Cartwright has been played organized soccer for the past 11 years. She plays for Coach Matt Smith at Corona Del Sol High School in Tempe, Arizona. Corona Del Sol competes in Central Region 5A-1, the toughest soccer region in the entire state. Kelsey was 1st Team All Central Region, All City, and a Tribune All State selection as a sophomore. Coach Smith also coaches Gilbert Arsenal, Kelsey’s club team. She has tremendous club tournament experience playing throughout the country. Kelsey has also played two years for Team AZ for the Olympic Development Program which is picked from the best players in AZ.

Kelsey handles the majority of the corner, penalty, and free kicks for her teams. She was 4-4 on PKS her freshman year, 5-5 her sophomore year, and was 1-1 on both penatlty kicks and set plays this past year.

Kelsey is not only a great athlete, but also a dedicated student. She holds a 3.8 GPA while taking many challenging AP level classes. She is also a dedicated community member participating on the Tempe Mayor’s Youth Council and the National Charity League.
