CAREER OBJECTIVE: A part time position as receptionist or secretary for an office.

GENERAL SUMMARY: Over 34 years experience gaining a broad background in
working with all types of clients. Taking intakes, doing
assessments, correspondence, bookkeeping, and liasion
work with hospitals, doctors offices, drivers and clients.
I have a great knowledge of the Cedar Rapids area. I
have a clear pleasent voice and love working with the
elderly and volunteers.
EMPLOYMENT HISTORY:
9/1974-2001 Family Service Agency Cedar Rapids Ia
Assistant to the Director- I was responsible for telephone
intakes; determining clients needs for service and fees;
establishing routes for over 350 clients and lining them up
for our many Meals on Wheels volunteer drivers. Being
able to fill in for Director if she is absent. Assisting the
Director in in home assessments of clients and act as a
liasion with hospitals, doctors offices, drivers and clients.
I retired 5/2001.
6/2006 I returned to the agency now called Horizons Family. I
had found I was missing my work but now only wanted
part time. My responsiblies were mainly to answer phone,
report messages to my co workers. Doing statistics and
I was the person drivers would contact in case of
emergency of our elderly clients. On 7/08/2012 I was
told because of funding problems they had to let
go the part time staff.
1959 to 1966 Assembler at Square D. I left my work in 1966 to be with
my children who were very small.
EDUCATION: Graduate of Jefferson High School 1959.
