multi-divisional manufacturing company. Developed organizational structure and incentive programs. Responsible for production and dissemination of financial performance information. Developed industry and internal benchmarks and goals and led management in achievement of goals.
Conceptualized and designed pricing system based on flexible financial model that
produced pro-forma financial statements by profit center. Model allows management to see how multiple criteria involving volume, price and production variables affect each profit center. Use of model was instrumental in business strategy changes which helped increase net profits 11% in my first year as CFO and 21% in my second year.
Researched and developed industry benchmark standards. Installed general ledger analysis software that allowed analysis of past ten years of production, labor and financial data. Reviewed and managed benchmark performance achievement for five profit centers. Resulted in increased inventory and accounts receivable efficiency, reduced annual operating costs, and increased return on investment.
