Background

Seven years experience as system manager of DoD Tri-Lab (MediTech)
Laboratory Information System and two years as laboratory subsystem manager of
DoD Composite Health Care System (SAIC) hospital information system at a
beta-test site. Extensive work in user training, file maintenance, trouble
shooting, ad-hoc reporting and programming.
Technical Skills
Programming experience with the following languages: Basic, Pascal, MUMPS,
REXX, C, C++, VB, COM, DCOM, HTML, ABAP/4. Experience with the following
systems/applications: DOS, Windows 95/98, Windows NT, MTS, IIS, OS/2, Netware,
Lotus Notes, Easy Case, PVCS and various word processors, spread sheets and data
bases. MS Front Page, Java Script, MS Image Composer, web administration

justifications and laboratory operating procedures used as examples throughout
the Air Force. Edited an Air Force wartime laboratory field manual for

Personnel Management

major medical center. Innovative cost management saved $520,000 over five year
period. Responsible for procurement of over $600,000 worth of equipment during
the last 7 years of military service.
Quality Assurance
Responsible for Quality Assurance program of a medical laboratory reporting
over 250,000 procedures per month. Developed and implemented QA programs for
equipment, procedures and personnel. Developed a Lotus Notes tracking system for
monitoring fixes to software bugs.

Seven years experience as a primary instructor for Medical Technology
Internship; instructed in computer operations, biochemistry and immunology.
