Experience
Counterterrorism Research Specialist McMunn Associates, Inc.~ A Parsons Company Washington, DC July 09-June 12
Ms. Jamison had over two and a half years of experience assisting Senior Counterterrorism Exercise Planners in the design and development phases required to complete site-specific tabletop exercises. The tabletop exercise program, which directly supported the National Nuclear Security Administration's (NNSA) Offices of Counterterrorism Policy and Cooperation and Global Threat Reduction Initiative (GTRI), as well as the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), were developed for Federal, state, and local agencies, and aimed at promoting situational awareness and team-building while highlighting key indicators that could lead to the prevention or disruption of a terrorist attack. Her ability to multi- task allowed Ms. Jamison to assist with up to three exercises at any given time. Collaborating in the development of over 20 Counterterrorism/Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) exercises, Ms. Jamison gained broad, yet in-depth, knowledge in the areas of counterterrorism policy, crisis and consequence management, WMD-based terrorism, and basic radiation information, such as its health effects, terminology, and exposure information. Attendance and co- facilitation of these exercises gave her an understanding of Federal, state, local, and site response capabilities to a terrorist-WMD incident. Ms. Jamison's exposure to such information greatly improved the quality and scope of information she provided to her team members before and during exercise production.
