* Transport - Provisioning a multi-vendor, multi-technology, transport element environment while maintaining flowthrough from upstream circuit design systems.
o Tested Transport and NE specific code through staged test case specifications plans written using the requirements document as a guide. Tested the following Network Elements:
Fujitsu Flashwave 9500 (Both: Osmine/NGN) (SONET/SDH/WDM)
Tellabs 532L, Lambda XTREME 1625, Ciena 6500, FLM2400
o Performed both manual and automated testing.
o Found, documented, and checked fixes on defects/bugs in software. Provided status of problems to project manager.
o Interpreted and analyzed problems with software using logs, debugging tools and other methodologies.
o Discuss problems with other team members and developers to diagnose specific or generic problems in testing software prior to ship date.
o Tested/Troubleshot Installation Guides for Java based GUI on different server environments.
o Developed Unix shell scripts for Product Test team to aid in testing which was used for new feature and regression testing.
