ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
As Consultant
tothe town of Bayview, Idaho, won Federal Grant funding
from the US Forest Service for economic growth improvements.
As Sr. Program Manager
for the Metricom nationwide rollout of their Ricochet wireless internet
service worth approximately $60M, improved production to meet required
schedules.
Capture Manager
for the proposal generation
and the subsequent winning of the Rhythms DSL telecommunications service
program worth approximately $150M over five years. Managed the
implementation of the above program with the initial start date one month from
date of award. Implementation included 150 new employees, new workspace
configuration, new desktop equipment and new LAN/WAN interconnections.
Additionally managed
the proposal and won the subsequent Navy Port Hueneme Information Systems
Services program worth over $50M over four years.
Program Management
of the Air Force AWDS
$75M hardware and software support program, including the restructure of the
existing contract, thereby decreasing cost exposure of $3.5 million,
generation of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) worth approximately $16M to
turn the program profitable, and the technical performance turn-around which
eliminated customer penalty consideration for contract default.
Generated
new procedures for
development, production and customer acceptance of the Air Force B-1B Bomber
electronic warfare equipment, including software modifications, allowing
delivery schedule to be maintained. Additionally revised company
policies and procedures to comply with new parent company requirements, which
allowed customer acceptance of inter-divisional work.
As Operations Manager,
created program plans and procedures for take-over of the Navy CASS RFMDA
electronic system design and production program from sister division, worth
approximately $40 million.
As Program Manager,
generated proposals and negotiated associated contracts worth $48 million to
automate an existing Navy electronic countermeasures system including firmware
applications. Managed program for over four years, assuring technical design
adequacy, delivery schedule and desired profit.
