During my position with Flow-Data, Inc., an industrial automation company, I was part of a small team developing a unique monitoring tool. I provided system design input during the brainstorming sessions and did most of the software development based on the evolving requirements. I programmed mostly in C++ using Visual Studio .NET IDE targeting a Pentium-based PC104 board, however some low-level interfacing with Atmel and Rabbit-based systems was also involved.
