EDUCATION

1981

- 1987 Newlands Manor School, Seaford, East Sussex, UK; Connaught

College,

Bath, Avon, UK

'O' Levels - Maths(A), Physics(A), Chemistry(C), Biology(C), English

Language(C) 'A' Levels - O/A Maths(B), Maths(C), Physics(E), Further

Maths(N)

1988

- 1992 University of Wolverhampton, Wolverhampton, West Midlands,

UK B.Sc. (Hon's) Computer Science(2.2)

KEY SKILLS

I am highly capable of using high level and low level programming

languages with special interest in C/C++, Assembler, Pascal, Modula-2

and BASIC. I have experience of six years in C, four years in

Assembler and Pascal, one year in BASIC, six months in Modula-2, two

years in C++ using OOD and OOP design methodologies.

Part of my training consisted of 4GL and the use of SQL Oracle

database. I am remarkably proficient in using PRIMOS, MSDOS, WINDOWS,

WINDOWS NT, OS/2 and UNIX operating systems.

The direct contact with Microsoft product users further developed my

communication techniques and the aptitude for learning new technical

information within defined time constraints. Frequently a clear

technical documentation was produced and presented to the user.

As a Software Engineer at Apricot most of the work was performed

unsupervised and to continue with the implementation of a new software

solution extreme creativity, innovation and meeting deadlines were

essential.

At Bridge UK, as a Software Engineer, I perform all of the work

unsupervised which enhanced my self management skills. I convert X25

packets to asynchronous communications protocol in Real Time under

Windows NT in order to transmit financial data to the database at the

headquarters in the USA. I was invited to the USA for one year by the

company headquarters to share my knowledge and gain company specific

information.

From all the experience gained it shows that I am a committed team

member and enjoy working with people in a group. I am extremely self

motivated, disciplined and take to responsibility well.

During the degree I developed a client/server based network

application under UNIX and a 3D graphics package that included

shading, hidden surface removal and affine maps. For the project in

the final year I implemented a Protected Mode supervisor on an Intel

80386 chip with intended multitasking for MSDOS.
