Technical Services Superintendent Reporting to the mining manager, leading the geology, geotech,
projects and ventilation teams at this block cave mine. New Afton is currently in development and
scheduled for production in Q3 2012 at 4 million tonnes per year.

Senior Mine Engineer Reporting to the technical services manager, leading the mine planning, geology
and survey teams at this block cave project. Key milestones include;
-Oversaw the redesign of footprint from herringbone to straight-through drawpoints, as well as undercut
and apex level design revisions.
-Oversaw the final design of conveyors, conveyor transfers, underground crushers, haulage and
ventilation levels.
-Implementing work planning tools into technical services teams.
-Providing coverage as relief Technical Services Manager.

New Gold Inc - Peak Gold Mine

Technical Services Superintendent Reporting to the mining manager, leading the technical services
team at this 2100 tonne/day underground gold mine to provide mine planning, design, survey and
geotechnical support to the collection of 4 underground deposits managed by Peak Gold Mines . Key
milestones include;
-Surface decline project (Peak Mine)
-Design and implementation of underground refrigeration system (Perseverance mine)
-Successful implementation of crown pillar mining projects (Perseverance and Occidental mines)
-Increasing underground production from 650,000 to 750,000 tpa (Chesney mine)
-Implementation of Production Planning Process improvement Project with technical team (BPM)
-Pre-feasibility evaluation of near-site mining projects as input to acquisition decision
-Providing coverage as relief mining manager.

SAP Implementation team/ Business Planner Working in a project team refining and implementing an
SAP global blueprint design at the pilot site. Worked within the finance team using my production
engineering and operations experience in the area of product costing. Key milestones include;
-Design and implementation of a revised mine planning process based on proven mine scheduling
tools and innovative use of the SAP process order system
-Increasing the percentage of planned work from approx 45% to 72% in the mine operations

production as my primary responsibility. Delegating work and establishing priorities based on the plan and

and excavation of an underground workshop.
