OBJECTIVE

Obtain a challenging position dealing with systems administration and information technology that would best utilize my experience in the enterprise environment or government agency that has incorporated enterprise based solutions. This position should have many opportunities for an aggressive, dedicated individual to advance in a fast paced environment.

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

Systems Administrator, with a strong working knowledge of the Windows IT infrastructure. Very dedicated professional with solid and reliable work ethic. Possesses strong written and oral communication skills. Currently possesses a Top Secret Security Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI). Currently holds CompTIA Security+ and CompTIA Network+ certifications. Performs administrative tasks with relationship to user and workstation accounts. Also has experience managing printers, digital senders, VoIP and SVoIP/VoSIP telephone accounts in Microsoft Windows Active Directory and Cisco netManager Unified Communications programs. Demonstrates the ability to perform maintenance on various networked and standalone information technology equipment. Manages user and group privileges on shared unit drives (NIPR and SIPR). Performs patch management for workstation compliance on Classified and Unclassified government networks. Shows knowledge and experience regarding the implementation and troubleshooting of Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems on both static and DHCP classified networks.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR Sept 2011 - Present

* Manage User Accounts and Microsoft Office Outlook troubleshooting on Unclassified and Classified systems. As a member of the signal team (S6) supporting the Military Intelligence battalion, it is a crucial aspect of the unit`s mission that all of the users are informed about the Acceptable Use Policy of the networks, as well as given short and reasonable time frames for user accounts, classified and unclassified, to be properly configured. Because of quick response and solution to various configuration issues, users of the battalion are more efficient at completing their diverse missions.

* Conduct Inventory of sensitive and non-sensitive items and Life Cycle Replacements of U.S. Army tactical and strategic equipment. Performed quarterly inventory of sensitive items ensuring all equipment was present and accounted for.

* Install Army AGM baselines on various DoD Classified and Unclassified computer systems. Workstations old and new demand a need for a baseline installation for overall increased network and workstation security.

* Implement, configure and manage VTC (Video Teleconference) Systems on Classified networks. Intelligence personnel in the unit expressed a need for immediate SIPR communications via Video Teleconferencing equipment. These machines allow for simultaneous information to be passed between individuals over an encrypted network for real-time synchronized intelligence gathering and overall increased unit cohesiveness.

* Experience with Symantec Ghost Console / Ghost Cast Server. Machines requiring baseline are imaged with the Symantec Ghost Cast Server console.

* Assist with Enterprise domain migration. For our organization, the implementation of an Enterprise email migration to different servers was deemed necessary. As a result of timely support and correct configuration, users were able to quickly and accurately transfer email over to the Enterprise domain without loss of data or extended periods of down time.

* Administrator in Active Directory Organizational Units (OUs) and Group Policies within an Active Directory Environment. Managed over 100 users in Organizational Unit and groups within Active Directory.

INFORMATION MANAGEMENT OFFICER - SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR July 2010 - Sept 2011

* Integrate, install and manage all Standard Army Management Information Systems for the unit that allowed full mission capability of every soldier and civilian of the forward deployed unit of the 513th MI BDE.

* Accountable for systems valued in excess of $100,000 dollars. All systems had to be accounted for and inventoried on a regular (quarterly, semiannually) basis depending upon sensitivity of equipment involved.

* Maintain all Information Systems of various types administratively in a tactical environment in support of USARCENT command on Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. Patches were applied to all systems needing to be brought into network compliance. This allowed for the unit to successfully send and receive reports, and send information between government agencies successfully which resulted in a seamless flow of information throughout the Kuwait AOR as well as seamless communication between the Kuwait AOR and intelligence personnel located in the United States.

* Conducted Life-Cycle Replacement (LCR) of all (over 100) systems within the Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) and the 513th Military Intelligence Brigade Area of Operation LAN (Local Area Network). Systems located on the ASG-K network assigned to the unit were heavily outdated causing productivity issues at no fault of the end user. The Life-Cycle Replacement resulted in increased user productivity and upgraded Windows 7 operating system baselines as a result of the newly installed systems (previous, Windows XP/Vista).

* Conduct baseline installation, patch management and administrative tasks for systems supporting the Distributed Common Ground System-Army (DCGS-A) system for sustainment and expansion of the DCGS-A infrastructure in Kuwait.

* Implemented two Cisco Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) switches to the Area Support Group - Kuwait (ASG-K) Local Area Network (LAN). This allowed for an added implementation and configuration of over 25 Cisco VoIP phones to be installed in line with SIPR machines already connected to the Cisco PoE switch. The installation of SVoIP capability allowed for 24/7 SIPR voice communications between end users and other intelligence personnel worldwide.

* Created a network diagram for an updated topology layout in order to reference and troubleshoot network connectivity issues. The diagram is updated when changes to the network are implemented; therefore administrative information needed for network repair is more readily available to the administrator. This results in faster customer support throughout the AOR and increased overall unit proficiency.

SYSTEMS MAINTAINER, S6 PERSONNEL September 2009 - July 2010

* Maintain government systems for continued mission support. Performed simple repairs on unit equipment under some supervision when required.

* Troubleshoot, repair and create LAN wiring for full Classified and Unclassified network functionality.

* Conduct Level 20 (administrative) repairs of hardware and software components on all government systems in the brigade. Installed necessary applications on government NIPR and SIPR systems for end users, ensured correct configuration of hardware and software components, including all Microsoft Office applications.

* Provide timely and efficient computer support throughout the 513th Military Intelligence Brigade.

* Manage COMSEC keys for Classified networks. Assisted in the maintenance of key replacement for the unit`s classified networks.
