Estimating

Began work in the flooring industry at Re:Source Colorado as warehouse supervisor in 1996 and was quickly promoted to the estimating department; further promoted to chief estimator after 3 years.

Project Management

Project Manager at Re:Source Colorado from 2000 to 2004 for several account managers. I was responsible for ordering materials, change orders, managing profitability and ensuring projects were installed on time and professionally. Followed up with customers to make sure installations exceeded expectations. Project managed over $7M of business in one year.

Account Management

Pre-qualified prospective clients and created a call log to begin working relationships with those clients. Successfully obtained new accounts with General Contractors and Assisted Living Communities by building relationships and consistently impressing clients with follow through and a positive, cheerful attitude. Increased profit explosion and decreased profit erosion by 5% or more on closed projects this year.
