I am studying B.E. (Information Technology) at the M.I.T. College of Engineering, Pune,

in second year. I have a passion

for game development. I have developed games using XNA, J2ME and Java (Android). I have

developed and released

four games on the Windows Phone 7 Market and two games on the Android Market. I have

progressed to the worldwide

semi-finals of the Imagine Cup 2012 Game Design competition, and am hoping to make it to

the finals. I have been a

Microsoft Student Partner since November 2010. I write a blog on game development at

Skills

. A thorough understanding of object oriented programming concepts, and the importance of

clean, readable and

robust code.

. Work experience in C++, C#, Java, VB.NET, VB 6, XNA and DirectX.

. A basic knowledge of game design fundamentals.

. Creation of excellent 2D game art. I am skilled in Adobe Photoshop, and decent at

drawing by hand. I have also

used Adobe Illustrator.

. A very basic knowledge of Autodesk 3ds Max.

. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

. I know a little German, and am currently learning French.

This is a short, unreleased game that I made for my old J2ME phone.

Home Management System

This is a household expense management system I developed in Visual Basic 6. The system

allows searching and sorting

of expenses based on the expense category. It also produces detailed and graphical

reports. It uses a Microsoft Access

database.

Activities

As a Microsoft Student Partner, I have organized and conducted multiple lectures and

hands-on sessions in various

colleges in Pune on topics that include Basics of XNA Game Development, and an

Introduction to the .NET Framework. I

conducted a session on XNA Game Development in Microsoft s annual city-wide student event

called DreamSpark Yatra

2012, in front of an audience of around 800 students.
