PMO a 2011 a 2012 a Working remotely in a PMO capacity, responsible for developing procedures for the on-site personnel, vendors and shipping lines to work in concert by publishing procedures on the aHow-Toa for equipment inventory verification, power-off, removal and shipping to new sites. Also published and trained the receiving site personnel on what the pre-delivery and post delivery process would be. I accomplished this thru the dissemination of road maps for best practices for verifying seating and equipment configurations, power distribution and UPS load balancing, as well as how to review cooling efficiencies. Working with the Managers, Design and Capacity Planning, Budgeting and other persons in the different departments to guide them in preparing financial documentation and assist with getting the groups to provide their re-engineering documents and justifications as well as work with the groups to schedule the migration timelines for the applications and /or servers. This position required I build a cohesive group for the coordination with the Users to meet the migration dates then track the decommissioning of the Legacy equipment. Manage the team with Micro-Soft Project Plans for the project, present to upper management update reports on the on-going progress.

November 2008 a February 2011 a As Lead PMO Managed a Team of Managers and Technicians; to decommission a 58,000 square foot data center in Northern New Jersey. I was brought in to review the on-site practices and to remediate as needed to author guidelines and then teach and instruct the on-site team on the process for turning down offices and data center. I was instrumental in raising awareness on the process of aWHYa and aHOWa not just aHOWa to complete an action. Required to work with company project managers, end users, distributed and main-frame groups to relocate, virtualized, retire, consolidate applications, servers, storage, main-frame, etc, to other data centers in the New York metro area, west and south. Successfully managed the removal from service, shipments, and dispersed old equipment for retirement, destruction, reallocation all in compliance with E-Waste Management processes to insure liability transferred correctly. All Time-Lines Successfully met and within budgets. I managed team in data center sites in the upgrade from Aperture 400 to Aperture 600.

Align Communications, New York - January 15, 2008 a October 31,2008 Senior Project Manager assigned to customer projects responsible to design and build co-lo sites and move active trading data centers for several insurance and brokerage houses in Connecticut for Align customers. Align down sized as a result of the a08 economy and as a result I was down-sized. As a Project Manager experienced with Co-Location Sites and the contracts, space allocation, power distribution issues and operational limitations that these sites present and solutions they offer. I have successfully moved Endurance Solutions of Connecticut to a Cervalis Co-Lo site in Stamford Ct. The project was a re-design of their in-house data center and a relocation of half the servers,

DEUTSCHE BANK - May 2005 a December 2007 - Senior Project Consultant as Senior Project Manager responsible for the IT Facilities in New Jersey, strategic oversight of several Data Centers, in excess of 140,000 square feet with largest site being 88,000 square feet. Responsibility included the day to day as well as long term power distribution for the UPS systems for servers, networks and HVAC systems. Assigned cabinet and floor space to install the servers, blade servers, etc. Worked with the S.A.as and in-house technicians to schedule the downtime and move of equipment. Additional responsibilities included working directly with the user groups to identify planned growth and maintenance schedule for PDU maintenance and to insure no interruptions of power. Managed electricians to provide the high and low voltage power infrastructure as needed. Required to plan Cisco Switch network designs to support HP, SUN blades and various rack mounted servers.

SMITH BARNEY/Citi Group August 2002 a April 2005 - Data Center and Trading Floor project had me directly responsible as Program Manager for teams of electricians working both high-voltage and the low-voltage communications on a three-shift six-day workweek. Responsible for all change order tracking and invoice processing. Chaired daily meetings and scheduling with end users, technology groups, the general contractor for the construction of the 600,000 plus square feet trading and back-office floors along with in excess of 58,000 square feet of data centers, supporting approximately 4500 trading positions and 2500 support staff.

AMERICAN EXPRESS - September 2001 a July 2002 9.11 Insurance and client Recovery Team Member a Reporting directly to aCa level persons in American Express and associated companies, this position detailed Loss Assessment for 7 World Trade Center and 3 World Financial Center voice/data devices on floors and data centers. As Lead Program Manager, responsible to compile an assessment verifying the loss of the technology infrastructure and through re-verse engineering, provide proof of loss along with cost to replace equipment and building infrastructure to bring the building back to a functional facility. Provided proof of loss due to September 11th attacks, successfully recovered in excess of $100,000,000 in technology claims for the company.

SMITH BARNEY January 1998 aAugust 2001 - Part of the Team 2000 Rollout group for upgrading desktops, laptops. Over 8,000 machines involved in this action. Additional Tasks included; scheduling the re-deployment of thousands of Desktop and Laptops.
