ACHIEVEMENTS

Was specifically hired by one of the worlds leading paper manufacturers to head the start-up of a new chemical products division in order to diversify and expand their business sales. In less than one year, distribution rights and product lines were established, sales goals and target markets were defined, sales personnel were recruited and existing sales representatives were trained. As a result, we were offering a one-stop procurement system. In the Arizona market we generated a 12 million dollar growth in annual sales in this division and served as a template for other Western region branches increasing the total annual sales volume by 50 million dollars.

Innovative ideas and products motivate me to high levels of performance. Having a keen sense for new, cutting edge products one was found undeveloped. I built a company around it creating a market for this life saving science. The best compliment is when a major manufacturer like Johnsons Wax recognizes it and adopts it. Many national chain accounts are currently utilizing this program providing a solution to slips and falls.

New business is everywhere. Discovering the needs of prospective customers makes the difference. Being inquisitive, I ask a lot of questions. People want to do business with people they like and trust. I became that person to over 200 accounts starting from scratch. I represented over 30% of the companys overall business and was always in the top 10% of 300 sales professionals in the country. I specialized in everyday needs with paper, plastics, and food service and packaging products. I engineered special protective packaging for the shipment of solar panels to third world countries. Also introduced a line of ESD products and packaging to accounts that had special needs.

While with a major chemical manufacturer I was tasked with developing a new institutional market (schools and colleges).

Taking an educational stance I shifted my approach from a product-presentation approach to people-based educational. I offered training and education on the science of having healthy buildings. I used my health-care environmental experience to produce healthier schools. This innovative approach garnered much attention and new customers.
