Safety Director/ Site Supervisor-Miami, FL (1/10-present)

As Safety Director managed the safety performance of all company job sites and led management teams for all company job sites in the implementation of the company safety program including hurricane preparedness. As Site Supervisor for the Scott Carver Project, an 86 building residential low income housing project with an estimated value of $40 million was responsible for initiating, managing, supervising, directing, and coordinating the construction process. Was part of the management team which scheduled, supervised, and directed a workforce ranging from 150 to 40 workers to achieve the contract schedule. Coordinate, supervise, and manage subcontractors at Scott Carver Project project. Initiate and manage the building inspection process for the Scott Carver Project. Initiate and manage the building close out process to enable our project team to meet contract turn over dates for the Scott Carver Project. Manage, implement, and monitor the company safety and health policy at all job sites. Conserve the accident rate at 0 below the Florida rate of 5.4 in 2011. Improve the knowledge of OSHAs new and current standards by developing and implementing monthly training. Conduct Monthly Safety Inspections at all current job sites. Led the subcontractors under contract with Beauchamp Construction in the implementation of the safety culture and program at the North Terminal Development Program at the Miami International Airport for American Airlines. Achieved an accident rate of 3.48 for 3 years for a total of 401,259 man hours at the NTD. Coordinated approximately 3,500 time and material tickets and processed them through the NTD system.
