I drove a lot of heavy machines for the 10 years i was employed at Schafer's Landscaping: Large fork trucks, bobcats, loaders, dozer, backhoes, bucket trucks, stump grinders, screen plant

For 3 years i was involved with the sales part of the company by finding and bidding for the company

I was then moved to a yard in Mason, MI where i ran it by myself while having to load people using my heavy equipment experience

I also did snow removal in the winter for all 10 years: using loaders with pusher on front, and plow trucks

we did a couple huge companies (GM General Motors, Ingham hospital), was foremen for 30 plow trucks and loaders at one time.

When i went into sales the nice clothes and not being outside intimidated me, so i told my boss i didn't think i wanted to do it. He asked me to try, and then they would talk. I hung with it for 3 years and while it was not my favorite position I worked to my fullest extent even taking paperwork home with me at night.
