Provided master scheduling and project management services to the Santa Clara Valley
Transportation Authority for the Tasman, Capitol and Vasona Rail Lines totalling more than
$600M in anticipated costs. Master scheduling included the integration of people and work
involved in the Environmental Assessment Process, Right-of-Way Acquisition Process,
Utility Relocations through actual construction of the entire rail program. Prior to
master scheduling, my responsibilities included being integrally involved in the start-up,
construction and closeout of various light rail transportation projects. As the scheduler
for the Tasman East Projects, it was my responsibility to monitor the Contractors work in
the field, analyze the Baseline Schedules and monthly updates, and mitigate delay and
claim issues. Reviewed and analyzed requests for extensions of time. Specialized in
training field personnel in Basics of Effective Schedule Management. Project scheduling
was provided on the following projects:

Provided scheduling services for both the Owner and the Contractor. Integrally involved
in development and analysis of the baseline schedules and monthly updates for logic,
duration changes, constructability and flow of work laid out by the schedule. If the
schedule was cost and resource loaded, the cost and manpower allocations by trade were
examined by using the Miller Curve distribution. In addition, cost and manpower ratios
were verified. Float trend analyses were prepared on a monthly basis for each project. If
working for the Owner, an analysis of the Contractors recovery schedules was done
whenever progress was delayed and mitigation measures were necessary. Project scheduling
was provided for the construction of the following projects:
Humanities/Fine Arts Music Building for the University of California Irvine. $5.3 M. A
design-build project for the construction of a three-story building which included house
faculty offices, studios, and rehearsal rooms for the School of the Arts. Performed the
schedule analysis for the cost and resource loaded schedule. Provided an independent
review of the Baseline Schedule and the Monthly Updates. Reviewed and analyzed Requests
for Extension of Time.
Student Recreation Center for the University of California Irvine. $11 M. This project
included workout rooms (aerobic and weight), office space and an Olympic pool. Performed
the schedule analysis for the cost and resource loaded schedule. Provided an independent
review of the Baseline Schedule and the Monthly Updates. Reviewed and analyzed Requests
for Extension of Time.
Crawford Hall Pool Replacement for the University of California Irvine. $2.7 M. This
project consisted of the demolition and re-construction of an existing pool and associated
recreational buildings. Performed the schedule analysis for the cost and resource loaded
schedule. Provided an independent review of the Baseline Schedule and the Monthly Updates.
Reviewed and analyzed Requests for Extension of Time.
Clovis High School 2nd Educational Center. $30 M. A multi-complex facility for the new
high school in Clovis, CA. Developed a 2,800 activity schedule, with the Contractor, which
was fully cost loaded and resource loaded. Processed monthly updates and payment
applications. Prepared fragnet analyses for Extensions of Time.
Construction Engineer II
Fluor Daniel, Inc., Irvine, CA
Stafford Creek Corrections Center for the Washington Department of Corrections in
Aberdeen, WA - $128M Integrally involved in preparing the master schedule and request
for proposals for twenty-two bid packages proposed on the project. Worked on design
review, constructibility review, and value engineering. Involved in the development of the
project start-up procedures that involved setting up project guidelines for contractors,
paperwork flow and pre-bid activities.
California Substance Abuse and Treatment Facility and State Prison at Corcoran for the
California Department of Corrections $300M - Developed project startup procedures for
Bid Packages 4, 11, and 13. Processed, maintained, and tracked all submittals for each
general contractor; reviewed all as-built drawing updates for addendum, bulletin, PCO, and
RFI items; reviewed monthly Progress Billing Updates for each of the contractors.
Processed change orders for all bid packages. Updated progress photos and reviewed daily
inspection reports. Coordinated all field issues with site inspectors and the contractors.
Compiled all data for claims and disputes issues for all bid packages. Attended weekly
coordination meetings with all contractors. Developed a site-wide job closeout procedure
which included reviewing operation and maintenance manuals, guarantees and warranties,
owner training, and other client deliverables.
Scheduler/Project Engineer

California State Women's Facility, Chowchilla, California - $8M - Processed, maintained,
and tracked all submittals for each subcontractor on bid package 8; processed all as-built
drawing updates for addendum, bulletin, PCO, and RFI items; developed and produced monthly
Progress Billing Updates which included gathering all submittal, review and approve,
fabrication and delivery, and construction tracking activities from project staff.
Billings involved updating and revising the project baseline schedule for distribution and
approval from the California Department of Corrections. Weekly partnering meetings were
conducted with Fluor Daniel and the Department to the State Architect to discuss submittal
tracking and short interval barcharts in Primavera. Job closeout procedures included
processing, maintaining and tracking all operation and maintenance manuals, warranties,
and guarantees.
