Accomplishments
Stabilized hiring and turnover for FOH staff, as well as being responsible for training and scheduling all FOH staff at two high volume Sonny's locations (Mandarin and Lane).
Fully trained and efficient at opening and closing a Sonny's restaurant, including following security protocols, maintaining and monitoring numerous pieces of expensive equipment, and completing paperwork in a timely fashion.
Completed Food Safety Certification with a 97 percentage score. Have had two Health and Safety Inspections while managing with this company (once at Mandarin, once at Lane) and had no food temperature violations on either occasion. Also no critical violations and no repeat violations.

Server for the North Monroe Sonny's in Tallahassee, where I also worked at least one shift a week in the kitchen and one shift over at the Drive Thru window. After moving to Jacksonville, I was hired as a server at Mandarin, not sure if I wanted to give management another try. Both experiences were very positive, and a bit humbling as well.

Started as a lowly host. Moved my way into serving, then eventually became a part-time bartender as well. From there, I became an assistant manager mostly in charge of FOH operations. Worked reliably for this company for over five years before the owner passed away and the things started to fall apart. I left for greener pastures and the place folded up less than a year later.

Went to UF for about four semesters. Couldn't find anything I was interested in and decided to take some time off, since I was making great money as a server at Steak and Pasta Works. Unfortunately I never went back to school and have no degrees to show for my time there. If my career would ever permit it, I would love to go back to school and perhaps get a business degree.
