plant's tech booth. The scope of this project included everything from network design to

DMX lighting optimization.

* After the redesign, the church saved thousands by utilizing an iPad to control all DMX

protocol lighting (wirelessly) and was able to eliminate multiple computers whose services

were all able to be slipstreamed onto the iOS 4.3 platform.

* Lead Developer on four custom WordPress based sites whose features include: Facebook

and Twitter feed integration, and Google Calendar synchronization (RSS).

Web Administration Intern

*Responsible for independently developing a web application that automated the deployment

process used at Jackson National Life's PGDS division. This form took the user's responses

to fields that addressed deadline information, datasources, StarTeam options, promotion

states, and TeamSite options and then stored responses in a PostgreSQL database. Taking

this recorded data, my script dynamically generated the XML files used in the company's

JBOSS Application Server. These XML files are then archived and sent out to the department

mailing list and using the SOAP protocol, a CA ServiceDesk ticket is created.

*Before my internship, in order to get access to their application logs, developers at

Jackson had to forgo a lengthy paperwork process. By, specifying the exact location of

their logs on the production servers and listing their corresponding userid - a member of

IT Security manually gave them access via sshFS.

Improving on this process, we decided to give log access based upon group membership. So,

I created a Perl script that examined the members of a specific LDAP group, found their

UserID and then added/removed members to the local Unix groupfile accordingly. After the

two group memberships were synchronized, my script dynamically adjusted the 'auto.master'

configuration file for the sshFS access - turning a week long process into a script that

could be executed in seconds. This Perl script will be deployed on 1000+ Jackson servers

(each with a minimum of two log files) and give approximately 400 developers timely access

to their logs.
