I would like to present myself as a candidate for the Office manager position that your firm is currently advertising.
I have 25 years of accounting and office management experience in a small to medium-sized business environment in both the contracting and not-for-profit sectors. I have performed all duties of record-keeping including full management of accounts payable and receivable, payroll, government remittances, daily bank deposits, bank reconciliations, online payment reconciliations, preparation of monthly statements for Board meetings and preparation of corporate tax returns. In addition I have maintained trust account reconciliations for law firms and performed trust account audits for estate and trust beneficiaries.
In addition to my accounting capabilities, I am experienced in database management, and have excellent proof reading skills. I am able to prioritize tasks, and am always willing to help out to ensure that deadlines are met.
I am very well versed in Outlook, Word, Excel, both Quick Books and Simply Accounting, and I am able to learn rapidly any new office management/accounting software that I am presented with.
