ALS Minerals – Laboratory Assistant(Digestion)

Responsible for production chemistry that maintains the high quality and output in the Wet Chemistry digestion lab, including digestion of assay and geochemistry methods. Use correct methods in accordance with the established procedures and schedules while ensuring analytical quality, and adhere to safe laboratory practices by working in accordance with the ALS Health and Safety Program.

Apprenticeship during junior year. Trained in materials deposition, fabrication, deposition, characterization and analysis. Exposed in the analysis and operation of X-ray Diffractometer, Raman Spectrocsopy setup and Scanning Electron Microscopy.

Concentrated in thin film deposition using RF Magnetron Sputtering and Titanium dioxide nanotubes fabrication.
