August 2006 to April 2012
Boeing company Everett, WA
Wire Design & Installation Engineer
Responsible to provide the wiring partner's wiring installation designer with oversight and Guidance to resolve issues, achieve optimal design solution and meet program schedule.
Also responsible for coordination with airframe systems integration to communicate interface and support requirements
As Boeing electrical VLI are Responsible to provide wire installation at the airplane wiring Supplier with over sight and support in order to resolve issues, achieve optimal design Solutions and meet program schedule. I also design TBS-1,2A and 2B Provisions and incorporate them into the build plan
Develop wiring to structure interfaces Define and deploy wiring interface geometric definition(disconnect Bracket, attachments, penetrations, grounds(studs Blocks and strips) to support APIE 0,1 and 2 Design
Define and negotiate interface request(IRS) (Disconnects attachments, penetrations, termination grounds(stud,Blocks, and strip) with the frame system installation team(ASIT),the airframe Partners and the wiring supplier to support the integrated wiring solution at Ms3 design maturity Prepare baseline integrated work Statements (IWS) for IR/EDS Models. IWS are used when scheduling wiring to structure interface and when WHI/WHP models need to be released to support the program schedule
Prepare Preliminary IR layouts with conceptual attachment penetration, disconnect, termination and ground proposals for review by the airframe partners, airframe system integration, system stress, MP&T and M.E as applicable
Prepare attachment, termination, disconnect, ground, penetration IR/EDS to send to the applicable partners and negotiate interface. Create signoff of action and promote the IR/EDS to Approve once interface agreements are reached.
Prepare ICM as needed by FAD or partners not able to use the IR/EDS process. Approve harness interface/penetration ICM prepared by structure or airframe systems integration (ASIT) Groups. Review partner MBDs and IRMs as needed for wiring interface issues
